Studio portraits
Sierra is the daughter of our triathlon coach. I'm working on my studio contemporary portrait photography website portfolio and asked if she and her mom, Heather, could do some posing. Her teachers call her the "Queen of the Playground" because she's a non-stop-never-tired kid. It was fun getting her to pose with the rose I bought because she didn't want to do any posing with it and felt super uncomfortable. So we got about five pictures before being done. One of the canvas backgrounds I painted is a light tan color and I discovered by accident it looks really good when converting the pictures to black and white. The edges look like a pencil drawing.

Why wasn't I blogging?
I've been trying to figure out how to get this website onto the business listing and look halfway good. Signing up for the Google business listing took a couple hours and actually hurt my brain. Went swimming afterwards and had a terrible swim because it was so frustrating. Then I was trying to figure out why it wasn't showing up. Now it's up and WAY down on the list. The pictures were somehow all duplicated about three times too. Nothing like looking like an idiot online to get a person worried. Need to get back to the goal of 100 posts linking to my Bend wedding photographers website.

I believe in America. I believe in our creed, our ethos, our laws and the principle that we have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Government officials take an oath of office to protect the Constitution of the United States. They do not take an oath to protect one person. When they break that oath, they desecrate the constitution and insult every single one of us here now and our ancestors who came before us. MAGA is a fascist threat to our democracy. I stand against these new American fascists.
